Hi my name is Melodie and I am the owner of Garnet Events. I am the oldest of seven children. My mother was sick most of my teenage years before she passed away. This taught me organization, since I was the one in charge of getting everyone where they needed to go. I am a very detail orientated, calm under pressure and creative person. I love planning parties and helped one of my sisters plan her wedding. Her wedding taught me just how much can go wrong when no one knows what to do. My sister Becca watched as we had so many problems, when it came to her wedding we were much better at planning. I have since than taken my certification course in Wedding and Event planning from US Career Institute. Most of my experience in event planning is from doing fundraisers. Family parties and weddings make up the rest of my experience. My company is family run and dedicated to giving you the best service out there. Please let me introduce you to the rest of my team.

My Sister-in-law Jackie Gossett has been in the hospitality industry for the last 5 years and has now branched out to travel planning. She is my second in command and when needed the second planner to oversee large events.

My Sister Lydia Carocci and My brothers Fiancée Rayanne Foutz Run our phones while we are away. They make all the last minute calling to confirm the vendors for your event. They also do set-up and clean-up duties. With very large events or multiple same day events they both act as assistant planners.

My two brothers Richard & Dean Gossett along with my brother-in-law Jason Carocci help with the set-up and clean-up when needed.

We hope to be adding onto our staff when my sister Becca and her husband Paul come back from California. She specializes in small budget classy weddings and he is a licensed Officiant.
